Welcome to the Mason County Office of Emergency Services. Mason County Office of Emergency Services (OES) is the umbrella covering several agencies including E9-1-1, Emergency Medical Services, Local Emergency Planning Committee, non-incorporated floodplain management, and addressing management.

The site serves as the central emergency information site of Mason County, West Virginia, USA. This site provides for public and employee only access. During times of emergencies and when time permits, information may be placed on this website as well as being distributed to all of the local media groups that are necessary to make the public aware of emergencies and any actions that may need to be taken.

The Mason County E9-1-1 center is currently accepting applications for part time dispatchers.  Follow the E9-1-1 link to fill out an application on line.  Only applications submitted online will be considered.

UPDATE:  February 2, 2010 -- The call data for 2009 is available for Mason County E9-1-1 via the tab on the left.

UPDATE: On 10 August 2009 @ 13:55:12 the Mason County 9-1-1 center was struck by lightning at least twice and virtually all electronic equipment was destroyed. During this time, this also destroyed all servers that contain our websites. This website was unavailable for several weeks. Now that the new servers are back on line this site will begin to regain its former content.
